OpenAI Codex desktop app with a red and white sci-fi Dream Skin theme

The Red Horizon Codex skin gives the OpenAI Codex desktop app a clean science-fiction front end. A crimson sun bleeds across the hero panel with figures walking toward it, the sidebar keeps a single red accent, and the whole thing stays flat and typographic instead of busy — the closest skin in this gallery to something you could put on a screen in a work meeting.

It is also the most restrained one here: white panels, red highlights, no character art at all. Code, conversation history and diffs sit on plain backgrounds at full contrast, and nothing in the Codex interface is moved, covered or hidden.

The theme installs on macOS and Windows through the open-source Codex Dream Skin project and costs nothing. Paste the install prompt below into Codex and it will read the upstream repository and apply the skin itself, or use the manual install guide if you would rather run each step. The plain Codex interface is always one command away.

Install with one prompt

Paste this into Codex and it will install the skin itself (agent-native install):

Read the repository https://github.com/Fei-Away/Codex-Dream-Skin and install Codex Dream Skin on this machine with the "Red Horizon" style theme. Follow the platform folder (macos/ or windows/) instructions, verify the skin is active, then tell me how to restore the stock look.
