About this site

Codex-Skin.dev is a community-driven gallery for browsing, previewing, and installing skins for the OpenAI Codex desktop app. We aggregate community creations and provide step-by-step install guides.

This site is not affiliated with OpenAI. Codex and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. All skins are community creations.

We build on top of the open-source Codex Dream Skin project. Our role is to showcase skins and provide tutorials — we don't modify or take over the upstream project. If you're a skin creator, you retain full control of your work.

We use badges to distinguish official concept art from verified, real-installation screenshots. If a skin is marked 'Verified on Codex,' we've tested it ourselves.
